Oh gasoline. A necessary evil in this day and age it seems. Here are a few tips to cut down on your consumption.
1) Turn off your car. If you’re not actually driving, you don’t need your engine running. Examples include: when you’re at the bank or a restaurant drive thru window, waiting on someone, etc.
2) Keep your tires fully inflated. You’ll get better gas mileage.
3) Consolidate your errands. Driving back and forth when it could all be done in one trip wastes gas, money, and your time.
4) Seek out alternate forms of transportation. Is it close (& safe) enough to walk? Bike? Do you know someone you can carpool with?
Remember, small changes can mean big benefits for both your wallet and the environment.
