Here’s a picture of the first carrots from our garden.
Not the biggest bunch, as you can see, but hey, it’s a start! It’s true, I still have a lot to learn about organic gardening. And now it’s that time to start preparing for the spring garden… I can’t wait! What do you plan on planting this year?
i have a lot to learn about gardening, too! this year I think I will plant a variety of peppers, lots of tomatoes-I love the heirloom ones, they’re so flavorful! Of course zucchini and eggplant, probably kale, lettuces, and of course my herbs. I love parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, basil, oregano, and tarragon. I guess I’ll try dill again even though I never have much luck with it. There is nothing like eating fresh from your garden!
I don’t have a lot of space for a big garden but I am planning on trying tomatoes again (last year was my 1st time). Maybe I’ll try cucumbers so that my mom can make one of my favorite sides….cucumber kimchi (a Korean side dish).
