Chances are you’ve sipped a mimosa at least once before–and containing only two ingredients, know exactly what’s in it.  But how do you step it up a notch? Besides using a quality champagne, forget Minute Maid and try juicing oranges yourself for the most perfect and freshest mimosa ever.

Mimosaingredients

juice from freshly juiced chilled organic oranges

chilled champagne

Directions: Pour fresh orange juice into glass.  Add champagne and give it a stir. Try starting with half OJ and half champagne, though you can vary the proportions according to your taste– I tend to prefer less juice to more champagne!

Garnish with fresh orange slice if desired.   You can also try this famous drink with grapefruit juice instead for a new twist.
