Perhaps poetry is my religion–reading and writing, stream of consciousness and deep hidden feelings…. moving in and out, up and down, but always forward through life, grieving and wondering; seeking; reflecting. The metaphors that come through cloudy words, or that have no meaning at all–we can sift through our days, sift through our minds, and help empty the streams of contradictions & emotions that are inside of us when we take pen to paper.
Do you believe in tomorrow? Do you believe in today?
We must be thankful for what we do have. Thankful. Thankful.
“Dance, when you’re broken open. Dance, if you’ve torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you’re perfectly free.”-Rumi
Rumi must be one of those yogi people who has trained himself not to feel pain! So cool.
Hahaha wouldnt that be awesome if two people were fighting trying to beat each other up and all of a sudden one of them started dancing?
