BE YOURSELF. There’s nothing sexier than unabashed honesty. Seriously. Someone who makes no apologies for who they are and embraces themselves (quirks and all) is without a doubt, one flawless looking individual. (Ironic, considering they’re not afraid to display their “flaws” and all!)
BE CONFIDENT. I don’t care if inside you’re actually trembling like a baby. Perfect the art of being confident. (It’s OK to start out bluffing.) Exuding confidence can elevate you from foxy lady (or lad) to foxiest lady (lad) on the planet.
DON’T POINT OUT YOUR FLAWS. (Or rather, what you might think are your flaws.) Chances are, you’re the only person that sees them. I believe it’s true that we’re our own worst critic. Keep the negative comments about your appearance (and anything else about your character) to yourself, because like I said, I’m pretty sure no one sees it but you. Others think you’re beautiful, inside and out.
I believe that true beauty radiates from within. Leave and comment & tell me: do you agree?

I love this article! I think we all feel this way at sometime in our life.
You are certainly beautiful inside and out…with and without makeup!
I hope you continue with your photography and writing. What a talent!!!!
why thank you Pam! I’m so glad you liked the article!
Wish I looked as good as you without makeup! When I go without my war paint, it is not uncommon for people to say to me, “Are you sick?!” or “You look tired.” Lol
I’m sure you look great without makeup! like I said above, remember you’re your own worst critic! “war paint” lol. I knew a girl who used to call her makeup her “grill” – I always thought that was funny too!
Yes, I agree beauty does start from within-I think women especially have a hard time accepting their looks b/c we are constantly bombarded w/all these “celebrities” that DO look flawless–we have to learn not to compare ourselves to those unrealistic ideals–after all, you are right that the people who care about us see our true beauty–and that is all that should matter
you’re so right! comparing yourself to others is usually a surefire way to kill your self-esteem!
