Where are Stella Deer products made?

Everything is made by hand in Asheville, North Carolina, USA.

Are Stella Deer products cruelty-free & vegan?

Yes.

We do not use any animal products or by-products, nor do we test on animals.  We consider animals our friends and our inspiration. 

We are also committed to supporting organizations that help animals, through monetary donations & hands-on volunteer work.  Several years ago Stella Deer founder, Lia, volunteered three months at a wildlife hospital in Greece.

Tell me more about your perfume samples. 

Our samples are large enough for several generous uses so that you can realistically try out and truly experience the scent.

Remember that botanical perfume smells unique on each individual, so you are really getting to know this perfume as a signature scent only you possess.  Share with your friends to see how the scent can differ.

We suggest you take your perfume sample everywhere you go and re-apply often.

What do you use for scent?

Organic or wildharvested 100% pure essential oils from all over the world.

Essential oils are distilled from plants and we make sure the ones we choose come from plants that have been sustainably/ethically harvested.

Do botanical perfumes last as long on the skin as conventional commercially-produced (synthetic) perfumes?

No. Botanical perfumes typically tend to last for a few hours, so simply re-apply as often as desired for a stronger aroma.

How should I store my perfume/cologne?

Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.  On your dresser is OK as long as it’s not right in front of a sunny window. Keep away from excessive heat or cold.  Always keep cap tightly sealed. Recommended not to keep in the bathroom where humidity levels fluctuate.
